Yes, the materials exhibition will have free access, you’ll just need to register online.
The paid tickets are only for the key note speakers.

If you’r flying, the best way to move from the Francisco Sá Carneiro airport to Porto is to take the subway on a 30min ride.
From the city center to Casa da Arquitectura take the subway to Senhor de Matosinhos station and walk 3min to the venue. It’s a 30min ride.
If you are driving, just follow the GPS directions to 41.178630, -8.686997
